How to setting for PS remote Printer on Solaris : PS プリンタの設定方法

 リモートプリンタ(PS)の登録方法
================================

1) rootでadmintoolを起動
2) プリンタを選択
3) 追加で、「printer Name」、「Prince Server」、「Description」を指定
プリンタ名は gappo なので、前２つは gappo でよさそう。
Description はなんでもいい。
今回は以下の通り。

>> printer Name : gappo
>> Prince Server : gappo.rd.dnc.ac.jp
>> Description : OKI ML810PSIIV-LT

4) gappo は DNSに登録済み
  /etc/nsswitch.conf の hosts エントリは「files dns」

4b)もしくは /etc/hosts に書いても良い

5) lp コマンドで出力 : PS ファイルを送ること

/usr/local/lib/ghostscrip/example/tiger.ps とか

6) で、以下のようなエラーが出るなら

>> gappo not accepting requests since Mon Jan 11 22:07:30 JST 1999 -
>>         unknown reason

ルートで
/etc/init.d/lp stop
/etc/init.d/lp start
を行ってみる。

7) 再度、PS ファイルを出力してみる。綺麗に印字されればオッケー。
